Bronte Boathouse - Oakville

The location is fantastic, with beautiful views of the marina and Lake Ontario. We stopped by for drinks and had a beer, a mule, a spicy Paloma, and a pink bikini cocktail. We really enjoyed our time there! I can’t comment on the food, but the service and drinks were excellent!

The location and view of this seasonal restaurant are outstanding. The raw fish is incredibly fresh, and the main dishes are quite good. However, the true standout is the coconut pie jar dessert—it's uniquely delicious and surprisingly delightful!

On to the food: My husband ordered the pasta, but he found the last mussel to be a bit gritty, overly salty, and not quite right, which affected the entire dish. My son enjoyed the fish and chips, while my daughter absolutely loved her Caesar salad. Both kids raved about the warm buns with butter! As for my meal, the crab cakes were overcooked, though they had great flavor. The fish tacos were tasty, and the oysters were a standout, earning a solid 10/10. The breaded chicken in the salad was also overdone, but the salad itself had a delightful mix of flavors. The vibe and energy of the restaurant is something you should look for and have fun!!! Giving them 4 stars because of food. I think they can do so much better with food in terms of making flavor full. The fries were good!!! The chicken sandwich was okay not something really delicious. Chicken was bit dry when eating. Garlic loaf is probably not worth $9 lol. Our server was really nice and a very hardworking lady!! So cheers to her! Overall good experience ????

Fantastic eatery large portions and great food quality. I would reserve a table before going as it is so popular. Perfect setting by the Marina and good walking trails. Worth the drive out to this great restaurant!
