Bamboo Legend - Oakville

Thai food is my favourite one but this one is far away from authentic when it comes to taste. Fried tofu is ok when being served first. Appetizers mix begins to worry me when I tried the fried wonton which tasted sweet.Tom yum soup has carrot, glass noodle and not spicy. The sour taste doesn't come from lemon grass but more from strong white vinegar. The two main courses were totally disappointing, curry beef with regular rice was too sweet and it made the curry taste strange. Bamboo legend pad Thai has this unbelievable sourness again and strange content mix. Though the service is good and dining environment is clean, it is a poor experience for my family and last but least, it's expensive.I was very mislead by the high reviews and suppose it's heavily modified to appeal to more local taste. If you want real Thai taste, please avoid this place.

This is our go to Thai place in Mississauga . Great quality, great flavour. It makes for a much better take out dinner than pizza or chicken. Good value when you consider the quality

Always great food whether eating in or take out. The pad Thai is amazing. Regular version but also the curry pad Thai which we finally tried for the first time. Well worth it. Mango salad very fresh. The green curry with chicken is a helpful portion.

Love the food at this place. We have only got take-out but the service always been great too. Prices are reasonable too

Great Thai food. Lucy has owned this place for years and her husband is in the Kitchen. Fresh ingredients and classic Thai dishes make this a regular stop. Best spring rolls ever!! Try the shrimp delight and Bamboo Legend Pad Thai (more variety of veggies).
