The food was delicious, albeit a bit pricey. We ordered the kale Caesar salad, the shrimp appetizer, and a margarita pizza for our main course. This is a great spot to enjoy Neapolitan-style pizza. location is nice but decor very dark. Anticipating the new restaurant Hexxagon to open as was told was opening in April, now October? Seems very long but hope to try the food. Chef always on phone which is unprofessional so that was disappointing View all feedback.
On our way home from Niagara-on-Lake weekend, my husband and I passed through Oakville since I had never been here before. We saw the sign for this restaurant and decided to check it out. We got a seat right away on the balcony and our server was courteous and knowledgeable. We shared the fig/prosciutto app and the burrata salad. It was a great way to begin our meal. The fig/prosciutto app is simply to die for. It is placed atop a lemon/mascarpone mixture. Absolutely fantastic!! will definitely try to make this for my own guests at home. I ordered the pizza that has mozzarella di buffalo/prosciutto and arugula. I enjoyed only one slice as there is too much of the cheese, thus making it quite oily and thus is quite filling. I will definitely love to go back there when I am in Oakville again.
We heard a lot about 7 pizzeria ....and wanted pizza.... so we thought we would check it out. The waiter was great and the atmosphere was lovely. The cost of wine was steep($65 and up) and pizza cost was up there but doable. There are a few other places in Oakville area were the pizzas (in my option) are better. Long story short.... expensive and I found the pizza not great. Maybe other dishes were better however just going for pizza and bottle of wine .... not worth going.
I went with my fiancé for lunch, the patio is amazing, the staff are very welcoming, the waitress who served us was very knowledgeable and friendly. The Aqua pazza dish and the cajun shrimp ???? are very delicious. I am definitely coming back. Thank you
But cannot say the same for the food and service. After ordering, we had to wait 1 hour and a quarter to get our dishes. The place was not crowded at all so there is no excuse for the delay. And the food was not great either. Just average.
