Providence Eatery - Oakley
Providence Eatery
Description
Tucked in an unassuming shopping center, this local pub pairs warm, knowledgeable service and a lively, accessible interior with punchy bar offerings and crowd-pleasing comfort food. Standout bartenders craft strong cocktails and curate draft beers, plus a pool table, music and accommodating staff willing to improvise off-menu. Foodies rave about tacos and tots, and the spot is wheelchair-friendly. Downsides: a bland exterior, pricey cocktails and restrooms that need attention — but overall a fun, neighborhood find.

I had a fantastic meal with exceptional service! The restaurant was fully wheelchair accessible, making it easy for me to get around. On top of that, our server was outstanding!
To be honest, I've visited this shopping center numerous times in the past few months, even parking right in front of this restaurant while heading to Raleys or Mt Mikes. I didn't even notice it until my most recent visit. That just goes to show how unremarkable and bland the exterior is. You really can’t judge a book by its cover. I hope the inside doesn't match the dullness of the outside. That's my point.
The drinks were extremely overpriced—$38 for two martinis, which included a $2 tip. The bathroom also needed attention; it was unkempt and lacking necessary supplies. However, aside from that, it could be a really fun place. We didn't order any food, so I can't comment on that.
