What User doesn't like about Bracegirdle's Chocolates Marion:
The hot chocolate is fantastic although a little expensive. However, This was the first time ever visiting a Bracegirdle's that I haven't felt welcome. I read the note on the till that they were only serving takeaway after 5.00pm, but I nearly walked away as the person was so dismissive. Be careful Bracegirdle's as there are plenty of places in Marion I can get a hot chocolate and have a warmer welcome when I spend m... View all feedback.
This top-notch chocolate shop offers a wide variety of unique chocolate creations and knows exactly how to impress. The drinks, main dishes, and desserts are all excellent, and the staff is very friendly. I am a big fan of this place.
Our visit to Bracegirdle's Marion in the afternoon for coffee and chocolate was average. The service was slow and unfriendly, despite there being no line. The cafe's location in the middle of the shops, harsh lighting, and overall appearance were unremarkable. We only chose this cafe because it was not busy and there were no other options nearby. The coffee was underwhelming, with my espresso being served lukewarm.
I have had mixed experiences at Bracegirdles recently. It used to be my favorite coffee shop for many years, but I have noticed that the quality and taste of the coffee can vary depending on who makes it. I have also received different prices for the same order without a clear explanation, especially when ordering a small mocha. I was told in the past that a small mocha should have one shot of coffee and chocolate, so I don't understand why the price would differ unless an extra shot of coffee is added, which I did not request.
After walking arou d westfield I was looking for a plavce that served a pot of tea and a good sandwhich. Bracegirldes ticked one box the pot of tea. The service was great friendly staff, good table service after ordering at counter but the sandwhich was not so good. The bread tasted as it was frozen bread that had been defrosted. The filling was smoked salmon and cream chesse and salad. The salad cucumbers cut too thick. The salmon had a nasty smell not fresh. The lettuce was not cored properly. Overall dissapointing.
Whenever I venture to Marion I always stop in to Bracegirdle’s for a quick bite. I always order the Monks Omelette and a latte. This meal is nutritious and consistent every time. Basically it’s a spinach omelette with cheese on toasty crusted bread, salmon and a delicious buttery sauce. Great for a bite on the run. Only criticism is that the serving size is getting smaller.
