The restaurant is a fun and eclectic spot that is popular with locals. We particularly enjoyed the steaks and received excellent service. We had such a great time that we stayed for 2 hours, enjoying drinks and food. View all feedback.

. my friend new that I wanted to love this place and he was right! I used to post how much I missed outing to oakland and karaoke nights.
There's nowhere like that. God bless Rod Dibble for hanging in all these years (50 counters) as a piano player. The alley survives only because it is still - technical - managed by the family (nevere of the important ofther’, a Ccording to nice lady bartender, tonight that is longer than any other than Rod). The food is very good and cheap (Full Steak dinner for $11), the ambience great and the music fantastic. If it were not for the original family property, or the health inspectors would have condemned the place a long time ago. Yellow business cards, f;lyers and such cover the walls as they have been for decades. Nothing has changed since, maybe in 1963 when Rod started running, or it... and so the customers like. When they tried to model back a few years, the regular ‘no’ and that’ said where we... Nothing as safe. But enjoy it now as who knows how long it can go - hopefully much longer. Some call it a diver. I call it a classic!
Go for Trivia...food will surprise in a Good Way I love a Steak sandwich.
