Was Kori Scott at Quick Bite a mag?
Quality fried food joint that is local to its core. Things are cooked fresh so could take 15 minutes for your order. Has definite charm I can respect being new to the area in a rapidly gentrifying Oakland. Definitely a go to spot for a Fried food fix. View all feedback.
What Brittany Cruickshank dislikes about Quick Bite:
I was a little disappointed today .. this is one of my undercover GoTo spots that I always talk about, but today, for the first time. I was disappointed. The fries was great, but the grease she fried the chicken in was truly suspect... View all feedback.

This restaurant offers high-quality fried food that truly reflects its local roots. The dishes are made to order, so you might have to wait around 15 minutes for your meal. It definitely has a certain charm that I appreciate, especially in the fast-paced environment of lively Oakland. It's definitely a great spot to find comforting food.
This was the best roasted cat I've ever had. The flavors were excellent, and the greens were delicious. It was definitely worth the 15-minute wait!
Very good chicken sandwich. The fries are to die for. A small little hole in the wall but very good. The prices are also hard to beat especially in downtown Oakland. Very limited seating so it's more of a grab and go type place.
I absolutely love coming here! The owners and staff are incredibly friendly, making everyone feel like family. The food is delicious and served quickly, all at reasonable prices.
**A Charming Culinary Gem in Oakland**

The menu features an enticing array of freshly prepared dishes, including whole fried chicken wings, catfish, and red snapper, all made to order, ensuring a delightful, hot meal that’s worth the 15-minute wait. While the prices are remarkably affordable for the area, the real highlight is the friendly service that makes patrons feel like family. With a cozy atmosphere and a focus on quality, this joint remains a great option for comfort food lovers seeking an authentic local experience.

If you're the lady that asked me how the fish was on Saturday afternoon it's good! Nice thick pieces, tastes fresh, good size portion for the price. Had the catfish this time, I'll come back for the snapper Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
