Persian Nights At Bacheesos - Oakland

Great food and wonderful service. Really enjoyed the open-air dining on the patio.

We came for the Persian nights at Bacheesos and the food was delicious! Since we are both vegan, we really appreciated that they had vegan options, which is rare for Persian restaurants. We tried the vegan gormeh sabzi and vegan geimeh bademjan and both were tasty. They came with rice with tahdig that was well made. Additionally, our waiter was very nice and friendly. There was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. We highly recommend this place!

Did not like how they Cancelled my reservation TWICE. I'm guessing they didn't want to pay the fee for my reservation thru OPENTABLE.

Great evening of relaxing atmosphere, good food, and a great buffet for a very reasonable price!

We came for Oakland Restaurant Week. The dinner began with hummus and pita bread. The hummus was thinner than I am accustomed but very delicious with a nice garlicky taste. The salad was a typical Greek salad with cucumbers, tomato, and peppers and very fresh. The lamb chops were perfectly cooked and well seasoned. They were laid upon a bed of rice topped with a roasted tomato. All in all, it was delicious and we will be back. The one negative is that we were served and charged for the higher price white wine which was not what we ordered.
