Feedback
The fried chicken, reminiscent of katsu, was fantastic. Instead of the typical flour batter to help the panko adhere, they use an egg wash that keeps the chicken much juicier. I loved it! The egg omelet-wrapped pad Thai was also delicious. It had a bit of a sweet flavor, which might be due to our choice of non-spicy; I’d like to try it with mild or medium spice next time to see if it’s less sweet. The chicken rice was a mixed experience. The ginger rice was tasty when paired with the dark meat and sauces, but the white meat was too dry. I would definitely stick with the dark meat next time.
The Pad Thai was excellent! I really appreciate that they use Chinese chives instead of green onions like many other places do. It also had shallots, fried tofu, and I think I even found a bit of dried radish in there. It’s the closest I've experienced to the authentic dish in this area. There was a generous portion of chicken, which was juicy as well. I’d give it a 5 out of 5. The crispy egg rolls were good, but not remarkable; they serve their purpose if you're in the mood for spring rolls, so I’d rate them a 3 out of 5. The Thai iced tea was nice, but it was sweeter than usual, which overshadowed the flavor of the tea. I’d also give that a 3 out of 5.
