Catfish Hut - Oakland

My husband and I dine at this fantastic restaurant at least once a week. The catfish is incredible; we’ve never had a bad piece of fish there. I prefer my fish cooked just enough to be flaky, while my husband likes his a bit more done, and they’ve always gotten our orders right. The staff is very friendly and enjoys chatting with customers. The atmosphere is quite cozy and inviting. It reminds me of the fish fries we used to have with my dad every year, when everyone would gather around us.

I visited from Texas and was looking for Mississippi Wels, and I was definitely not disappointed! The food was delicious, and the staff was very friendly. I will definitely come back.

Catfish dinner was a delicious break from our average Friday night meal. Their salad bar had so many options and everything was so fresh even though we got there late in the evening. Staff was delightful and so helpful.

Great fried catfish onion rings. Nice little salad bar, too.
