The peach mimosa was delicious, just the right blend. Shared the chicken and waffle with a friend. It had 2 pieces of chicken and we halved the waffle, very tasty. What Tiffany Johnson doesn't like about Athletic Club Oakland:
If I could give this place zero stars, I would. They advertise that they close at 10 PM, but when we arrived at 9:22 PM, the Hispanic bartender refused to serve us. We only wanted one drink, but he initially said the kitchen was closed. After we clarified that we just wanted a drink, despite other customers still sitting, eating, and drinking at the bar, he insisted they stopped serving 10 minutes earlier. I asked if... Always a great time with an excellent staff. I was there for combat nights, the super bowl, metal band pop ups, sunday brunches, bingo and just a bite with my children. amazing place with amazing people to have a great combination in oakland.
Watching the warriors win the NBA finals here was an amazing experience. Such a boisterous and fun environment. The staff is extremely friendly and super efficient. The food and drinks were great too. You definitely need reservations on busy game days and consider bringing earplugs.

Not one for bars normally, but I can say this place is very nice. Awesome attentive staff, nice surroundings and good people. I was there to watch a championship fight, which I am thankful they hosted. There were plently screens for everyone to enjoy. Their were people watching football, basketball AND boxing with no problem. People seemed happy with their drinks and food. The bathroom was nice and clean... I would definitely come here again!
In the past I haven't been impressed with the food here but tonight, it was beyond amazing. The customer service is superb and the covid-19 procedures are safe. I recommend this place especially during the covid-19 pandemic.
