Alder St Diner - Oakland

Great classic on a beautiful street in downtown Clinton. Complete menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner with a few items not missed. The first-class rib-french dip is roasted at home with a delicious dipping sauce. In addition, if the mushroom soup is available, it is full of a vegetable stock and sooo delicious. Not sure how often I will be back in town, but if I am, I'll be safe again. Thanks for the great food and service!

Eating is really good. The milkshakes were excellent. It is cafeteria style where you place your order at the counter, pay and sit to eat. The bathroom was clean and the food was quickly prepared. The decor is 50's diner and has some funny throwback items. Come back.

Be here several times and the food is also perfect. It is all fresh, hot and well prepared. One of our favorite places in town. Go eat here, you won't be disappointed!!

The atmosphere at this restaurant is clean and beautiful. The waiting staff and chefs greeted us warmly as soon as we walked in. We ordered reubens, a crabcake sandwich, milkshakes, and coffee... all of which came with a generous side dish of our choosing. The prices were great and the service was excellent. Overall, our experience was peaceful and enjoyable. We will definitely be returning.

Never give up on this restaurant! Both my fiancée and I highly recommend it, and we can't wait to return for more delicious meals. Plus, we ran into a local schoolmate, Angie, while we were there.
