Got the tenderloin and a burger. They were both excellent. We had a group of around 24 in the back room. The service was excellent. What James House doesn't like about Taylor's 2 Steakhouse:
No Wi-Fi. Dietary restrictions: The only thing they have four people on a low-fat diet is a salad, and even then it's probably a good idea to bring your own low fat dressing. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2 View all feedback.
I’ve visited lots of high end streak restaurants, And Taylor’s ribeyes puts every single one of them to shame. They are juicy, well marbled, and perfectly seasoned. And enjoying it in a tavern environment makes it all the better. The salads are simple, the potatoes aren’t fancy, and the appetizers are pretty classic American bar apps. And it’s in small town Indiana so you get that friendly local service where people genuinely treat you right. Kid-friendliness: High chairs and kids menus!

I ADORE this place. I've had the steak sandwich and it was the best damn steak I've ever had. I will say the bathrooms are really cramped I banged my head on one of the support bars when getting off the toilet. Another thing is that the place is clearly not wheelchair accomodating as the bathroom is too small. I mention this mainly because this place has a heavy emphasis on respecting veterans why not also respect and have ways for wheelchair bound vets to enter and enjoy your establishment without feeling othered? It feels weird to me. That being said this place still rocks, I didn't give it 5 stars for no reason, the people there are friendly and the service is top notch. The owners know how to make good home style cooking mixed with a homey atmosphere. Very sports bar esc but not in a way that feels overbearing or intimidating like I find some sports bars feel to me. I'm autistic so take this could contribute to that but regardless this place does not give me that overwhelmed feeling.
