My first time at this location and lunch was served to perfection. Their stuffed zucchini appetizer was the best I've ever had and their red snapper was wonderfully prepared. Their salad dressing reminded me of when I was in Italy and traveling through the rest of the Mediterranean. I'll definitely be back! View all feedback.
What M v doesn't like about Portobello Restaurant:
Definitely don't need to return. I was visiting and wanted to go for lunch. This used to be a favorite when I lived in NJ 20 years ago. The atmosphere was so loud, the chicken was tough and very salty and the service wasn't even service. Our server had zero personality and she never came back to see if we needed anything which we did. My Aunt's salmon was cold and overcooked. So dissapointing because it looked delici... My family loves to come to Portobellos. We have come for years and have been celebrating several important family milestones such as 70. Birthday celebrations and 50 years anniversary and 75th birthday of my father. The food is always on the point.
Great place for lunch. Great portions, many options and tasty to boot!

Pleasant service, calm atmosphere, (too) big portions, nice menu options, (tho, guys, it’s time to refresh the physical plastic menu files), grate taste. Cream brûlée with a little surprise. The only minus for me was a bit loud silly Italian pop music.
