I had no high expectations, just with in a somewhat tourist city of Yosemite with limited options. But I'd always come here if I could! Waiting was worth it! It was very busy and so it took about 45 minutes to get food. It was a bit more expensive. But everything we did was extraordinary. Bubble tea, pork beans, orange chicken, vegetables fried rice. What Jasmine V doesn't like about Taste Of China:
The F4. Orange Chicken 陈皮鸡 was dry in the inside, the C3. Beef Chow Mein 牛炒面is super greasy that I cant eat it, and the E4. Steamed Rice (Per Person) rice is super dry as well as hard. But DoorDash delivered my food on time with everything I ordered. View all feedback.
The Thai tea could have been a bit sweeter, but the food was excellent.
The flavor and quality were quite disappointing. While that can be expected in a small town, everything we tried was really not good at all.
The F4 Orange Chicken was dry on the inside, the C3 Beef Chow Mein was excessively greasy and inedible, and the E4 Steamed Rice served per person was also very dry and hard. However, I appreciate that DoorDash delivered my order on time and included everything I requested.
Honestly, I hate to be rude, but the food tasted like it was sitting out all day and then microwaved for way too long. it had an old taste to it and even with all the sauce in the world it couldnt help. The rice was hard and the noodles were dry. Door dash gave me $16 on $60 worth of food. Now I remember why I cancelled dash pass.
Once I ordered a chicken dish and I could've sworn I was not eating chicken. It did not taste right. And then I made the mistake of ordering from this place again and the shrimp tasted like it was coated in a batter with too much flour that was soft and squishy. The other meat was pretty mediocre as well. Their Crab Rangoon's are awesome though! They're a bit over priced and quality is not consistent if you ask me.
