Pop's Family Restaurant - Oakhurst

My grandfather, Aunt Neice and I went to Pop tonight. I was very impressed by service and food. The atmosphere was relaxed and easy. You can eat inside or outside in a terrace setting. The food was very cheap and of great quality. We got the onion ring for $5. You could say that they cut the onion there and made the dough themselves. So often I ordered onion rings in other places and they are frozen out of a bag with chewing hard corneal batter. Grandpa got the chili for $7 and was excellent. My niece got the children's burgers and the meat is fresh and the patties made there. I got the chicken sandwich for $9 and the chicken wasn't processed. 100% chicken breast. The role it was laid was soft and you could eat the sandwich without making a mess. My aunt has the Ruben sandwich for $9 and that was excellent. I feel like they smoke the bride for their pastrami. The texture and spice would never be found in your local grocery store. We haven't waited for our food for more than 15 minutes. The staff was friendly and very helpful. When it was time to go home, they asked if we wanted to go boxes. Then they took the food and boxed it for us. This place is a must. Great atmosphere, friendly service, great prices and fast.

We stopped out of Yosemite. The service was slow and the food was okay. Portions were good, but we expected better for a mother and pop place. After our good, the waiter who served us was great, but the waitress before him was not at all pleasant or friendly.

Awesome staff, awesome food. Relaxed family dining atmosphere. Quick service. Domestic and craft beer, wine available. Large portions. Large menu. Cook even came out to make sure our food was good! Very personable and professional. Restaurant is recently under new ownership and they are off to a great start!

A late breakfast after leaving Yosemite. Enjoy your own Omelette, and the House Fries were gracious and amazing. The staff was friendly and we ended up with a few bottles of delicious hot sauce.

A great small family restaurant with a special touch. The whole crew really cares about the quality of food and service. You make the feeling you're tips at Pop's!
