As I... read more During a drive through Oakey on a Saturday afternoon, we stopped for lunch at Kabab Zone after being enticed by the fresh and appetizing salads on display. As I cannot consume wheat, I opted for a polystyrene 'plate' filled with a generous serving of mixed salad, shaved chicken, and mayo - it was absolutely delicious! Despite the lunchtime crowds, the chef, Michael, and his staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, treating us as if we were their only customers. They even took the time to chat with us and offered complimentary Turkish Delight as the rush died down. We will definitely be returning to Kabab Zone on our next journey through Oakey, hopefully during lunchtime again!
