What User doesn't like about Taqueria El Agave:
Ehh. I was excited to see a chile relleno burrito on the menu. Its rare to see that on a menu. it had EVERY single thing listed that I normally get… chile relleno, rice, beans, cilantro, onion, sour cream, guacamole. But, my burrito had pico de gallo, not cilantro onion (I hate tomatoes in my burrito), had no sour cream or guacamole. Pinto beans not refried like I like but my friends had refried…. ? Needless to say,... View all feedback. What User likes about Taqueria El Agave:
can not compare with the mission district taquerias, but good enough. highly recommended for those who have a stop in the city (Oakdale.) offers a large selection, but there was no menu item when we pass. View all feedback.

Service are good, but the eating ointment as well as it used, especially the asada tacos were really bad I think they need more attention to the kitchen

read moreEl Agave offers a promising menu featuring unique items like chile relleno burritos, but recent visits reveal a pattern of disappointing orders. While some dishes, such as huevos con chorizo, receive praise for their flavor, many patrons report lackluster and inconsistent meals, often with missing ingredients. Service issues have also arisen, with multiple customers expressing frustration over billing inaccuracies. Though the atmosphere is welcoming and the prices appealing, particularly for quick bites, for those seeking authentic and flavorful Mexican cuisine, the experience may fall short of expectations. A return visit might be warranted, but with caution.
Excellent burrito. Ideal for a pre or post mountain excursion. Reminiscent of the flavors you would find in San Francisco.
My food is always great. They prepare it in full view. Staff is friendly. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy accessible tables and chairs
