Been wanting to try it but y'all are never open when I go no-one ever answers the phone when I call and I can't find business hours online
Awesome seafood buffet! Staff was wonderful atmosphere is great! Highly recommend to anyone :
In my opinion J's Seafood is fairly average. When you factor in price (22.95 2.09 for a drink), you just feel that you're paying for more than you're getting. The food was fairly average. Macaroni and cheese was thinner than preferred. They should try baked macaroni as it would likely have a better taste and texture. Salad bar was very basic, but it was fresh which is nice. Boiled shrimp was good but the fried shrimp was hit and miss. Some of it was great but some were overcooked or had be there a while. Fish was average, though it didn't have the taste and texture of catfish which is what was expected. Not bad, but it doesn't make me want to go back again. Frog legs were good, though again, there's nothing here that impresses. Fried oysters were decent. I really prefer a dryer fried oyster, but that's just my personal preference so I won't hold it against them. All in all that's what you get from J's Seafood. It's perfectly fine, but only just so. Nothing makes you want to tell anyone about it being great and nothing makes you want to come back next weekend. As for service, our waitress was great. Peanuts on the table was a nice touch. Everyone seems perfectly nice and friendly. I would recommend that they change the way that they restock the buffet. I noticed that they would dump the new product on top of the old. While that's quick, it also means that some product will likely sit at the bottom for a long time. I believe this is what happened to the fried shrimp I ate. They should change out the pans and dump the old into the new one. Decor is nice. Decorations fit well. Bathrooms are clean. It's a perfectly nice place to eat and I'd recommend everyone try it once. Unfortunately, once is all I can really recommend. The price is just too steep for what you get.
