Had lunch with my wife today at Javis. The food was average in taste. My wife had chicken fajitas,I had beef fajitas. I have had more beef in a White Castle slider. My wife had a similar amount of chicken in her fajitas.The service was good. I have been to the Modesto location and it was much better. View all feedback.
Good service, the sauces taste like they came from a can. The two dishes ordered had no wow factor at all, just ordinary. The enchiladas seemed to be tortillas wrapped around plain chicken and microwaved with canned sauce over it, not baked in an oven with peppers or onions etc. really boring when there are so many possibilities
There's other Mexicans restaurants in this town that are a lot better, I find it hectic in there and not very well ventilated. The food isn't very good it's generic
Excellent service, has good prices and good quality food. Waitress was very attentive to make refills of beverages and nachos
We have supported this restaurant for many years, and through the pandemic we came in regularly and ate outside in the heat. However, I believe there has been a change in management as the quality of the food and drinks have declined considerably. When we've ordered Margaritas of late they have been a glass FULL of ice and offer only a couple of swallows before the glass is empty. Sorry Javi's we're moving on.
Come for the $3.50 margheritas at happy hour nice sports bar, decent service and mediocre food. The fajitas are not real fajita skirt steak, but a cheaper cut.
