When I was sick, their Won-Ton Soup was absolutely perfect. Good flavor and perfect for a cold day. Hard working immigrant family who consistently strives to give great service and delicious entrees. View all feedback.
What Bob Cook doesn't like about China House:
I am new to Pittsburgh, but if this is the norm. I will not eat Chinese food again. The absolute worst egg rolls I've ever tried to eat.My main meal was not edible, spent $30 4 my meal.Egg drop soup good, if that is respectable...NOT.Do not spend any money here...awful. View all feedback.
Food is excellent! Fair Pricing!Vegetarian options: Best Wonton Soup in Area!
This is our go-to Chinese restaurant. We've tried others in the area, but this one is far better!
I recently ordered a couple of lunch dishes The dishes were lazy, dry, and the rice was not cooked thoroughly. I gave this place a shot for being in the area for a couple of hours...but i certainly would not recommend this establishment to others nor will I return. Disappointing.
They are nice people but the food is sub par. Fried rice has no egg, just chix and onion. It was boring. Wonton crackers were cooked in burned oil, nasty. Spring roll cabbage was soggy mush. 2nd time here and just can't recommend it to anyone.
Who is giving this place 5 stars???!!what are they ordering????We ordered a couple dishes with the chili pepper symbol so it would be spicy. The food was bland so bland and tasteless. My homemade Chinese food is far better and i do not know how to cook Chinese, i fake it but mine has taste!will not bother going again.
