I was there for a fundraising dinner. There was plenty of room for everyone. The staff was very friendly, and immediately brought me a vegetarian meal when requested. View all feedback.
What Josh Giles doesn't like about Drury Lane Theatre Events:
Show was good but seating was bad. Seats were partially obstructed and could not see right side of stage. No indication this would happen during the purchasing process. Would not recommend. View all feedback.
Saw Cinderella, was a great performance and not a bad seat in the house. Beautiful inside!
Very upscale decor, clean and nice! Food was excellent and dessert simple (the way we like it)! We really enjoyed the program and surroundings. Looking forward to next years’ gala. Insha’Allah!?
I had my wedding at Drury Lane in September and it was everything I had dreamed of and more! Drury Lane is the most beautiful backdrop for an elegant and romantic wedding. The giant glass chandeliers are breathtaking and the food and service was amazing. We got so many compliments about how wonderful and timeless our wedding was from guests. Tammy was great to work with and always very communicative throughout the entire process! Highly recommend Drury Lane for a gorgeous wedding venue.
I have been a member of Drury Lane for 11 years. I've seen a lot of wonderful places there however, theater doesn't get it they don't know marketing I tried to see if they would discount the tickets for people that were subscribers like myself, so that I could bring grandchildren to see the play, but no, no discounts so last night I went to see a nice production of Cinderella, which is a tongue cheek comedy about the play that we all know and the theater was a third floor. It was practically empty and the last show I saw same thing the night we went. It was only a quarter full And there's all these empty seats and yet they won't discount the tickets to allow you to bring your family your kids your grandkids. This is a shitty policy and I wanna let them know that through this review they should have major discounts for people to bring their kids and grandkids, and they would fill that theater a little more. The production goes on whether the seats are full or empty and they should want the artist looking out, working hard and doing their best to see an audience not empty seats.
The venue is lovely. The play was really good. The seats are comfortable with a great sound system and wide aisles. Part of the sidewalk was under constructio, making it harder to walk. Only one of the entry doors was open to walk through as the other two were blocked for sidewalk work. They have a restaurant there to eat before or after the play and a bar also open especially during intermission. We did not get food on this trip but have many times in the past. It is pricey but very good.
