We had a lazy Sunday drive and dropped into the Oakbank Hotel. Quaint place, you can also sit outside on the balcony or down on the grass, they have tables and umbrellas. I had the Fillet steak...and i was SO tender. My knife just slide through it as i was cutting it, you can have chips, salad or vegetables and your choice of a sauce. Had dinner here tonight and got their flagship steak, ordered medium, it was seriously cold in the middle, it put me off the dinner in a big way, when I spoke with the staff it was basically a ok sorry, then proceeded to charge me $45 for a 1/4 eaten steak. First time visit and will be back very soon! Quick friendly service, food is of great quality. I ordered a chicken schnitzel and it was a full generous size, juicy with a crispy crumb comes with a choice of chips veg or chips salad. Great nightly specials with a good full menu available and all day dining Saturday Sunday.

Great place for the steaks perfectly cooked.Amazing flavours in the vegetables. Lily and Clinton are lovely hardworking people and so nice.

Had the best Quinoa Salad ever at the Oakbank last night I was initially disappointed at the lack of plant based options on the menu and I haven’t had a decent quinoa meal in a restaurant for a long time.However this salad was exceptional! Thank you I’ll be back!
