What Brittany Sabin doesn't like about Shoney's Oak Ridge:
They decorated this place pretty nicely, and it?s a relatively easy place to eat when you have young kids. The food however, was really bland and even though I know it is a buffet place, the food FEELS like it?s from a buffet place. It just feels liketasteless food that?s been left out for a while. Again though, it is a quick, convenient cheap place to eat at if you need it,but it?s definitely not my favorite. View all feedback.
This Shoney has great food. And was recently refreshed with a modern renovation. The service of my last visit was not great, but I think it is because some employees had not shown up to work so that they were understated. Worth a visit. The best breakfast is safe.

This was the 1st time I have been to a Shoneys in years. They did not disappoint! The food on the bar was so good. The waitress was awesome! I highly recommend this place.
Went to buffet, they were going from breakfast to lunch so a bit of transition going on. Food was good, only had small plates, cause we wanted breakfast, so it was very pricey for us, since the selection wasn't what we wanted. Everyone was very friendly and professional.
Amy was our server and she did an excellent job! she got refilled when we needed it and was very sweet! the food was hot and fresh and the bar was good!
