Reviews - Burchfield's
Reviews summary
Nestled within the DoubleTree by Hilton, this Oak Ridge restaurant offers a delightful culinary experience marked by exceptional service and a diverse menu. Diners rave about the breakfast buffet, deemed the best in town, featuring a variety of fresh options, including made-to-order omelets. The staff's attentiveness, particularly from servers like Savannah, ensures a warm and accommodating atmosphere, catering even to specific dietary needs. While some evenings may see a busier bar, the overall dining experience is enhanced by a welcoming vibe and scrumptious food. For those seeking great cuisine without pretension, this restaurant is a must-visit.

The music was fantastic, the service was excellent, and the waitress was wonderful. She followed all the rules and made a great impression on my first visit. I would definitely come back again. 10/10! View all feedback.
What Ariana Lopes dislikes about Burchfield's:
An in-hotel restaurant off of Illinois Ave. Double tree by Hilton. It is really inexpensive but you get what you pay for. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and they go above and beyond. If you don't feel like driving off site, this would do. For the non pretentious crowd though. I had the shrimp and grits (would not recommend) and the chicken marsala. The bar is where it's at! I recently visited your delightful restaurant. The selection of the breakfast buffet was amazing. So many things to choose from. This is hands down the best breakfast in town. The complexity of the flavors and careful attention to detail for the whole experience was impeccable! Our party ate until we were beyond stuffed. We even asked our lovely server, Savannah, if the chef would prepare an omelet and sides of made to order eggs, and each time they were delivered without hesitation and delectable. I cannot recommend this jewel of Oak Ridge enough. An exceptional culinary experience is waiting for you in the Double Tree. Merci Beaucoup for your talent and hospitality!
I’ve lived in Oak Ridge for years. My thoughts on this restaurant “It is good people who make good places Recently I went for breakfast again and it was delicious as always. Service was Great, our Server Savannah did awesome while serving our party of 5. Buffet was Hot and plentiful with all the great choices. Will return soon for the Food and the people Who make the experience even better! Still the best breakfast in town (breakfast buffet) also menu to order from!!!! Special holiday brunches!!!
Stayed at the hotel for a couple weeks Burchfield’s has great food, half price apps for Happy Hour, and the bartender, Hayley, is amazing! She took great care of me and let me watch the Thursday Night Game on Prime. Highly recommend any time in Oak Ridge!
Took the fiancee here for a quiet 7th anniversary dinner and Jane pulled out all of the stops to make sure we had the evening to remember. Highly recommended and will be coming back for next year's anniversary.

Was immediately served by a bartender that knew exactly what they had. Both on tap and draft.
Burchfield's was pretty good. We had dinner after spending the day riding at Windrock. They make good drinks at the hotel bar too.
The food was excellent, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our party's dietary restrictions and patiently answer all our questions. We were delighted to discover options that catered to our allergies to dairy, pork, and beef—something that can be quite difficult to find, especially at breakfast.
The food exceeded my expectations for a hotel bar/restaurant and was quite good. The prices were also more reasonable than I had anticipated. While it’s not the most vibrant spot, it’s a great place to relax and enjoy a quiet drink after a long day.

Having lived in Oak Ridge for years, I believe it's the people that truly make a place special. I recently enjoyed breakfast again at Burchfield's, and it was as delicious as ever. The service was outstanding—our server Savannah did a fantastic job looking after our group of five. The buffet was hot and plentiful, offering a wide variety on the menu to choose from. Burchfield's definitely serves the best breakfast in town, with both a breakfast buffet and an à la carte menu. They also offer special holiday brunches! I'll certainly be returning soon for the great food and the wonderful people who make the experience even better.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at your amazing restaurant. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, offering an extensive variety of choices. Without a doubt, this is the best breakfast around. The flavors were rich, and the attention to detail throughout the meal was remarkable! Our group indulged ourselves until we were completely full. We even asked our wonderful server, Savannah, if the chef could prepare an omelet and some eggs made to order, and they were both served quickly and tasted incredible. I cannot recommend this hidden gem in Oak Ridge highly enough. You will find an exceptional culinary experience at the Double Tree. Thank you for your talent and warm hospitality!
This restaurant is located inside the Double Tree Hotel. We arrived for dinner around 5:30 PM on a Friday and noticed a few patrons at the bar, along with several others, like us, waiting in line for a table. After a long wait without anyone coming to seat us, my husband decided to ask the bartender if the restaurant was actually open. We learned that it was open, but there was only one person managing both the bar and the restaurant. With the bar being quite busy, the restaurant was largely overlooked. We chose this hotel partly for the convenience of dining on-site, but we felt misled about the service level that would be provided. After wasting a considerable amount of time, we ultimately had to go into town for dinner. I would have rated this experience with one star, but the bartender was working exceptionally hard to keep things running smoothly, which I truly appreciated. They deserve recognition for their efforts, but I don't plan on staying at this hotel again.

Ok so I went here tonight, wasn 't impressed. Now Megan was awesome! But the food? Yeah no. Ordered a rare steak that came out blue rare, literally had the cook and his manager come out to tell me it was cooked correctly and that hes been doing this for 41 years smfh. I don 't think so scooter! I could have gone to McDonald 's and got this disappointed honestly. Yes they tried to make another steak, but why? I 'm currently trying to eat a bland steak and get out! But much kudos to Megan! Not reall
Went for mother's day brunch as we had for years prior. The quality and variety has dramatically decreased while the cost has increased by a third or more.

I ordered the grilled salmon with seasoned rice and broccoli, but I asked to swap the broccoli for mixed grilled vegetables, and Luke made it happen seamlessly. He also brought us some delicious hot rolls that were sweet and crunchy on the outside, almost like fried biscuits. My friend opted for a pasta entrée, and we both started with a small Caesar salad before our main dishes arrived. Both entrees were piping hot, and we enjoyed freshly brewed coffee afterward. Spending quality time over dinner with a friend during the Super Bowl turned out to be a fantastic experience. Just a tip: it's wise to call the restaurant ahead to verify their hours, as some places close early on Super Bowl Sunday, anticipating fewer diners during the game. — IndyfanJudy
