This has to be the worst food I have ever eaten with the name Chicago on the sign. The cornbread was terrible. The soggy yams tasted like mash potatoes with syrup. The red beans and rice.... IKYFL! The Banks Banana pudding tasted store bought as in canned and spruced up with seasonings. Tossed the entire meal in trash. I ordered a 3pc white meal to go. Here is what I was served (pictured). Highly recommended! This place is cozy and relaxing. It's out of the way. The music is on point and the food was great. Please go check it out.
I left hungry, not going to lie. I understand it's not your regular corner waffle house, but I was expecting a bit more on my breakfast plate. If you want to sit in cool leather booths with a good vibe, and spend $20+ then this is your spot. I gave it a 4 just because the food was rather bland, presentation wise, they made it look even smaller by planting my $14 breakfast special in a giant plate.

The mac and cheese is amazing. Get a double serving.
Not happy with the wing special buy one get one today Saturday July 20th, the mac and cheese is not good the cornbread dressing is dry, not worth the price today, I have ordered from here before and never had a problem, there must be different cooks, hit or miss and this was a miss today
