we had Thai food in the united states, this place is up there as one of our favorites. simple menu that allows all dishes to be made very good. they must be on their redial game to get their order, but the effort worth it. to the 1 star ratators who did not cost their food, they come on the man, stop their laune and try to get their order in time. that's worth it. we eat here often and are never disappointed. A very good Thai restaurant that we are blessed to have on Oak Island. They don't have a lot of employees, but service is good and wait is usually not long. Good has always been delicious and it is reasonably priced for lunch or dinner! The sampler platter is a good one to order. Nice variety for two people. All meals are excellent. Coconut cake on the board for dessert is very good. A quiet inside environment, not often found. Casual dress. Great place to eat everytime!
We recently relocated from Northern New Jersey, and were spoiled by Pimaan Restaurant, in Emerson. My daughter wanted Thai food for her birthday, as usual, and Thai By The Sea did NOT disappoint! EVERYTHING was amazing! The dinner, and the Coconut cake for her birthday! Absolutely delicious! This will be our new FAVORITE Restaurant!!!
Amazing thia food that compares to the best thia food I have had around the world.
I absolutely adore this restaurant and am thrilled that it is within walking distance. First off, the homemade coconut cake is absolutely amazing. It's not overly sweet, just delicious. The broccoli entree with a delicious brown sauce served with rice might just be my new favorite veggie dish. It's also great as leftovers. The pad thai is a generous portion and tastes great with any toppings, especially their tofu. The owner is incredibly kind and friendly, and I am happy to support this hidden gem in OKI.
This is by far my favorite restaurant and has the best Thai food I have ever tasted. We travel from Boston a few times a year just to enjoy their dishes (even though we only get takeout). And if you're vegan, you're in for a treat - their vegan options are absolutely delicious!
