We have been here twice now. The first time was for dinner, and then they are doing Trivia on Friday nights for the season. The food was good and the trivia was a lot of fun. Their menu is limited being off-season but still has a good selection. The only con was that they only had one server, and they definitely needed more. She didn't come back to ask how our food was or if we needed to order anything else. We under... View all feedback.
What Delightfully Pawlicious doesn't like about The Lost Paddle And Grill:
Blonde bartender was too busy talking to greet or serve me. She only had one bar guest. She walked over to grab him a pen which was in front of me but never greeted me or anything. I sat there for five minutes and gave up. So I went to a server to order a beer. Made sure to tip the server 100% since blondie was too worried about flirting. View all feedback.
The food is tasty, but the wait time is not worth it. We had to wait 45 minutes before anyone approached our table. Unfortunately, this is the only dining option available in the area.
The blonde bartender was too preoccupied with chatting to acknowledge or serve me. There was only one other guest at the bar, yet she walked right by me to get him a pen that was actually in front of me, without even saying hello. I waited for about five minutes before I decided to leave. Eventually, I approached a server to order a beer instead. I made sure to tip the server generously, as it was clear the bartender was more focused on flirting than providing service.
The main issue was the service and food quality. We were seated around 7 PM and ordered our meals as soon as our server (who was very kind) arrived about 10 minutes later. However, the restaurant was clearly too busy for her to handle alone. Our drinks arrived about 15 minutes after we ordered, but we had to wait over an hour for our appetizers. By the time our entrees finally arrived—two hours after we sat down—we had already tried to inform the staff that we no longer wanted them. Unfortunately, we couldn't locate our server in time to cancel our order, and the food was disappointing. I ended up with a burnt Angus burger that had just half a slice of tomato and a piece of lettuce. If we could do it all over again, we would definitely choose not to dine here.
We had lunch here before going on our zip line tour, and I thoroughly enjoyed the Appalachian Steak sandwich. My companion liked her grilled chicken salad as well. The loaded nacho appetizer was also excellent!
Jordan and Tug were fantastic bartenders! They offered excellent recommendations and were very attentive. I never had to request service, even on a busy Friday night. I highly recommend this place for a wonderful bar and grill experience. The fried pickles were incredible!
