Don't let the strip mall exterior dissuade you, the inside is very nice and modern. The food was excellant and cheap. The portions were large and service was great. Excellent excellent excellent btw, it's not just sandwiches. They have great pasta for dinner. Definitely a new favorite. View all feedback.
What Heidi S doesn't like about Juliano's Italian Sandwich Shop:
I love a good sandwich, and when this place opened, I decided to give it a try. I ordered a full caprese (tomato, basil, mozzarella and balsamic vinaigrette for $15, I was sad when I opened my sandwich after getting home. Two huge fat slices of tomato, 1 leaf of basil and the mozzarella slices (those were great! and barely any sauce on one side and soggy on the other. Unfortunately, I haven't been back. From the moment I walked in and was greeted warmly by the staff until the last bite of the a Reuban sandwich i devoured that was packed with flavor I knew I found my favorite Deli in Milwaukie. Fantastic service and Deciduous food you need to go and experience it yourself.
From the moment I walked in and was greeted with smiles and hellos from the staff I knew the food would be good. Little did I know that the taste and the experience would last all day The order was taken efficiently and correct and the Reuben sandwich was made with perfection. The meat was tender and juicy, good thing they packed extra napkins. The marble rye was fresh and flavorful. Outstanding!! Do yourself a solid. Go to Julianos!!!!
Fast, friendly, and tasty. What more do you need. Out and about on a Saturday with my son. We decided to grab a quick bite and Juliano 's was a place I wanted to try so we landed there. My son ordered the Meatball sub. A favorite around our house. I asked him if it was better than Dads (me). I knew he was fibbing when he said no . It looked amazing and my son loved it. I order the pastrami melt and it was very tasty as well, but for me the star was the lentil soup with sausage. I be back for sure.
Boy, I really hope this spot makes it, since the neighborhood is sorely lacking credible food. They make excellent sandwiches, served with your choice of chips or a small cup of really tasty soup. 1/2 for $7 or a whole for $12. 1/2 is plenty. Very quiet on a Thursday at lunch, so you should come in soon in case they're not around long. Very nice staff, cute space. Could use salt and pepper on the table. Go, support a local business!
