I was on The Rock for business and pleasure. For one of the rare times I was on the Vineyard by myself. The food was amazing and the service outstanding. Although I was dining alone, it didn't feel that way. The Cardboard Box remains one of my absolute favorites. See you next month...I can't wait. View all feedback.
We sent early in the evening and found plenty of space at the bar. Knowledgable and fun people behind it. I'm sure this place kicks off late at night. Will go back again.
Ben the owner knows how to excite your taste buds. I've known the man for a while and I can tell you that he truly cares about his businesses and menu options. (Thinking about pleasing his patrons literally keeps him up at night.)Get yourself into The Cardboard Box, Oyster Bar and Red Cat Kitchen. Ben will treat you right.
Ben and his crack team of servers killed it last Saturday night for the annual holiday celebration for Vineyard Gardens. The restaurant was decorated for vacation, the food was impeccable, Kate and the staff were extremely helpful and everything flew as you always hope to become a party. After that, DJ Pretty Ninja (Erica Davies) fell down after a set of great dance music until everyone was exhausted. Talk to Kate about the reservation for your next party, you will not be disappointed.
We had an amazing dinner at The Cardboard Box tonight! Whenever we visit Martha's Vineyard a few times a year, we always make sure to dine at The Cardboard Box and Red Cat Kitchen. Despite the challenges of the coronavirus pandemic, we were pleasantly surprised by how easy and safe the takeout process was. The online ordering system was convenient, and the contactless pickup was efficient with clear communication via text. The food was absolutely delicious, as always. The ribs and cornbread were beyond words, and the crab cakes, pot stickers, Jambalaya, and caprese salad were all outstanding. We even ordered some chicken tenders for lunch the next day, which were perfectly seasoned, and the french fries were crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. If you're ever on Martha's Vineyard, make sure to dine at The Cardboard Box or Red Cat Kitchen – or better yet, try both! They are conveniently located across the street from each other, within walking distance from the Oak Bluffs Ferry terminal. This is truly the best food you'll ever have.
