I visited the island for the first time, and it certainly won't be my last. The winter atmosphere was peaceful, and the pizza was fantastic. It was the perfect spot to relax with friends, play some pool, and throw some darts. I heard it can get quite crowded, but I'll save that review for summer. View all feedback.

Honestly, the venue wasn't bad for a music spot. If it had been marketed that way, it might have received a better rating. However, keeping the "8 Ball Pool" sign up for three years after no longer being a pool hall and pretending to still be one is just strange business practice. I’d probably give it 3 or 4 stars if I had gone in expecting a music venue, as the band was fantastic. If you're going to keep the pool hall sign, at least have 1 to 3 pool tables set up on the side. There's definitely enough space for them. It just feels odd. With a little transparency, it could have easily been a 4 or 5-star experience. The entire right side of the venue was empty too—perfect for adding a few pool tables.
The people who answer the phone seem like they're halfway across the world and don't have a clue. It's too much of a hassle to try and deal with this place. Forget about it.

I didn’t want to escalate things or report the bartender for an honest mistake; I just expected it to be straightforward to get back the money I didn't intend to give them.
It was my first but not last time on the island, winter, quiet, great pizza, perfect get away with friends to play some pool, hang out, trow some darts. Heard it gets packed but that will be another review, hopefully in the summer.
