Coop De Ville - Oak Bluffs
Coop De Ville
Description
**Coop de Ville: A Coastal Culinary Experience**
Nestled at the harbor, Coop de Ville is a beloved spot, celebrated for its memorable menu and laid-back atmosphere reminiscent of a beachside retreat. Diners rave about the vibrant seafood options, such as the Lobster Roll and freshly prepared 300 to 600 pounds of wings daily, complemented by an impressive selection of local brews. While the food generally shines—highlighting unique offerings like baked stuffed quahogs and clam chowder—service can be hit or miss, with occasional lapses in attentiveness. Nevertheless, the enjoyable exterior seating and welcoming vibe make it a quintessential destination for visitors to Martha's Vineyard.

Stopped by for lunch with a big group. They were very accommodating and found us a few tables for us to sit together. The servers were also very attentive and prompt. The seating area was covered and had a great view of the harbor and feels very much like what you would expect from a harbor side bar and grill. We ordered some wings, fried clams, fried shrimp, fried pickles, and onion rings. You can't go wrong with fried poultry and seafood. Everything was nicely battered and flavorful. The wings had a good amount of heat, but the suicide was a bit lacking since I was expecting more burn. The shrimps were plump, tender, and cooked just right. The whole belly clams were also nicely fried. All in all, it was fun place to grab some lunch by the harbor.

Great spot, terrific location 'where the Locals go '! We had a great lunch, mahi mahi seemed Very fresh (off the boat, we 're told), chowder was excellent, creamy with great clam flavor. Great beer selection on draft, and pleasant, fun staff. The harbor view is just a nice plus. Will certainly go back.
Classic dock dive-bar-ish vibe right on the harbor. Service is decent considering how busy they always are, (not always fast, but always friendly). Usually has some interesting local brew choices. Food is surprisingly good, one of our annual and favorite island joints. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
