Nando's Leicester Granby Street - Oadby

We were pleased with our meal, but were puzzled by the hour-long wait after ordering food through the restaurant's app. Other patrons who placed their orders with a waiter were served in just a few minutes.

The service was very quick, the atmosphere was great, and the restaurant wasn't too crowded. The food was hot and the fries were crispy. They added some Peri salt to the fries, which was a nice touch. The drinks were good and the staff was very friendly.

It has been a few years since we last dined at Nando's, but yesterday when our intended lunch spot was closed, we ended up at the Nando's on Granby Street. This may have been our first time at this location, or at least the decor seemed different since our last visit, but we found it to have an interesting aesthetic. We were warmly greeted by a staff member who asked us to wait briefly while a table was cleaned for us. As we waited, she provided coloring activities for the children, which were prepared by her colleagues. Both kids ordered from the children's menu (our older child had a simple chicken burger, while our youngest enjoyed a mildly seasoned option), while my partner and I opted for the Sunburst Burgers, with two side dishes to share between us. The service was fairly quick, though there was a small mishap with the burnt dessert that our older child had ordered, which had to be replaced. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience.

This restaurant follows the traditional Nandos format. eating was as expected that not long was waiting for it. it would be unfair to leave a bad review because the restaurant was busy when we arrived, but our needs were met. a strange thing the toilets are down, it can be a little confusing to remember which door they come to get back the restaurant area. no big problem, I thought I would mention it.

Fast service, spacious, polite accommodating staff and ambiance is perfect!
