The decor is lovely and nice background music not too over bearing. The food was really really good, the best profiteroles I have tasted in a long time...usually I'm not a sweet person but tried those and blown away. Would highly recommend a visit no complaints from started to finish with hot chocolate and brandy : 10 out of 10 View all feedback.

I had recently dinner here with a friend. We had two mains (risotto of the day and lasagne). As an Italian,I am disappointed to say this is not nearly Italian food though. The risotto wasn 't a real one,it was pilaf rice with mixed ingredients. The only good aspects were the very good wine selection and the the courtesy of the staff. Definitely not recommended if you want to have a taste of authentic Italian food.
Nice food. Used to be slightly better a few years ago but would recommend nevertheless. Nice place for a cosy date.
They were friendly and service fine, but poor food for an Italian restaurant, lacked seasoning flavour.
Well where do I start.....!!!! Table booked for 19:45 and we couldn 't believe how busy it got at 20:30 with 4 tables in that speaks volumes!!!!!! Service No drinks order taken when we where shown to the table.. Medioca service..... Starter Garlic chilli prawns bland and ciabatta bread cold in the middle Dolcetta Mushrooms standard Mains Prawn Chilli Linguine Tinned Tomatoes taste prawns no chilli taste. Chicken Peppers chilli chalzone ok no chilli, served a dip of with which yasted of tin tomatoes and pepper. Second bottle of prosecco came with no cooler !!! Had to drink quick!! Desserts Fondant tasted like Indian takeaway restaurant Dessert and chocolate torte, pistachio ice cream with strawberry sauce interesting combination!! but that 's just our opinion!! Then you see the sign on the window saying only open in the evenings then you know why!!!! Queens Road is far better..... better service, better atmosphere...... would recommend you go there!!!!
