This small jewel is centrally located opposite the main station in Nyon. It is a short staircase, and therefore not really wheelchair or buggy accessible, which is its only negative point. The place is a small, traditional tea room that serves a variety of mouthwatering cakes, pastries and confectionery as well as various sandwiches, canapés, whole cakes (e.g. for parties/special occasions) and of course different teas, coffees, juices and soft drinks. It is quite quiet, but the regular clientele give a low-level hum of satisfaction that adds to the picturesque atmosphere. Staff are friendly and know their products. There is a small terrace area that is very welcome in the warmer months. Always a pleasure to go back. Recommended.
