While the food was delicious, I found it to be on the pricey side, and the portion sizes were quite small. As a vegetarian, I noticed that when I requested modifications to the menu, they still charged the same price even though the dish had fewer ingredients. On a positive note, the service was outstanding; the staff was friendly and incredibly attentive. They were particularly accommodating regarding my son’s food allergy. Don't miss their daily happy hour from 4 to 6 PM, where you can enjoy regular drink prices—wines for $7 and $8 beers.

The server was the worst experience we've had. We had just sat down when he immediately asked for our orders, so we asked for a bit more time. He returned just two minutes later. We ordered brunch items and coffee, including a first course of fruit and soup, but everything was brought out on a cart at once, as if it were room service. The server mentioned they were struggling in the kitchen due to two events the night before, which was not our concern until it affected our meal. I had really hoped our experience would improve from our last visit, but sadly, it didn’t. It’s disappointing because the venue itself is really cool, yet both the food and service fell short.

My wife had the short rib risotto and it also was very good. If you are staying at Hotel Nyack you would not be disappointed
