Fishbones Rote Island

Our favorite place to eat in Nembrala. The sourdough pizzas are incredible with freshly sourced ingredients. We loved buying the sourdough bread and pittas as well. Lydia and rest of her team are the most genuinely kind and friendly people I have ever met. Cannot recommend this place enough! Great place with good vibes to have a beer (cheapest in town). What's not to love!?

Location was hard to find so we ended up orderering 2 pizzas by phone. Personally delivered by two young boys who were very pleasant. Vegetarian ‟Ur heaven pizza” which was made using sourdough was filled with local veggies. The dough itself was delicious as we are sourdough lovers. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the pizza considering this is a very small island.

Wonderful bread; their sourdough is amazing and arrives still warm from the oven. Order the day before (they bake Monday's Wednesdays and Fridays . Big loaves — one will feed a family of 4. Pizzas are very good too and the owner is super responsive on Whatsapp with very good English:
