Ravintola Merimakasiini - Nurmijaervi

We were a group of four and chose this restaurant because we had heard great things about the food. We started with the appetizers, which were delicious, but the portions were a bit small. In a better restaurant, larger portions would have been offered. The atmosphere was pleasant and cozy, even though the restaurant was a bit crowded. Overall, we enjoyed our meal, but felt that the portion sizes could have been better.

The food was excellent and the interior was beautiful. The soup was good, the herbal dishes were excellent, and the espresso was premium. However, the service was lacking and it was disappointing.

Excellent eating, friendly staff. beautiful view to the harbour. prices are generally higher than average, but it is worth it. children have their own special menu (and rather cheaper).
