Maybe I don’t like French cuisine because this place was awful. €18 for their 2-piece scallop starter, scallops were cooked and flavored okay but rest of the plate was meh. LOBSTER BISQUE WAS TERRIBLE. First time I’ve had it BROWN OILY. Sweetbreads also came in a BROWN Cream sauce, that whole dish was just okay. Definitely not visually pleasing either. One of oldest restaurant in Helsinki. Delicious food, great service.
Great atmosphere restaurant, looks like it is also preferred by locals for special occasions. borsch was good, cash as main dish was perfectly prepared.
Cosmos has been at the same place since 1924 when I remember correctly. that is a lot of history for a restaurant and tells them something about the success.
Kosmos is a classic, with regard to eating and the inner. If I remember correctly, we were told that the restaurant has been at this place since then.
Incredible carving! A must-visit at least once a year. The food is excellent and the ambiance is classy. Customers always leave Cosmos feeling happy.
