More an Italian restaurant than a pizza place, the food is not a pizza and pasta only, but you can have it too. The staff is friendly and makes jokes, the portions are good, prices are ok too. The decoration and overall feeling is that the restaurant will be more expensive than it really is. It's popular and reservations are advised. View all feedback.
What Ronald Seidel doesn't like about Ciao:
eating at ciao is actually always good. I think the pizzas were moved around for too long and accordingly they only had the taste and consistency of a putzlumpen. very bad. View all feedback.
Very good food with good portions. The person who waited our table was excellent. He did a few magic tricks which we are loved.
The staffs are quite friendly, however, the vegetable is not so fresh.
I come here practically every year for company dinners and I honestly love this place. The food is delicious and the interior is classy. There is a small outside area which is heated in the winter. The service is good and the personnel is very friendly.
At my first day in Nurnberg I tried german food, so the next day I wanted something familiar and my hotel recommended me Ciao. It is not in the old city, so not that touristic. Not a big space and people as I understood mostly come for take away. The food was delicious. Price very affordable and portions big enough! I had misto salad, onion soup and salmon cannolis. Onion soup was different from French, but I found it more soft and liked the flavor. Salmon cannolis was also good. I was so full that I didn't go with dessert. But definitely will be back to try something else. One waiter was speaking proper English and I counted one Italian.
