When my wife and I arrived the place was fairly empty because all bar one of the tables for two were taken bar one in between the cashiers desk and the kitchen.... read more When my wife and I arrived the place was fairly empty because all bar one of the tables for two were taken bar one in between the cashiers desk and the kitchen. Not a good start. It is astonishing to me that they were trying to fill tables for six on a Sunday evening rather than give customers in the door a good experience. The tables did not get filled. The food here us expensive, we knew that when we went, but it is just not good enough. The starter was good but a bit meagre. The main course was well cooked but the vegetables were well undercooked and incredibly dull for €5 a side. The waiting staff were courteous but brusque and gave the impression of not being interested in making it enjoyable. I wouldn't go again given the choice.

On advice of a nuory friend, we tried this refreshment. we were immediately impressed by the kindness of the staff (very attentive and cared also with the child... read more On advice of a nuory friend, we tried this refreshment. we were immediately impressed by the kindness of the staff (very attentive and cared also with the child) and the menu, so much so that in advance we booked for the new year. on these occasions many restaurants do not give the best but it is not the case of the “City”: excellent impression confirmed. the room is cozy and fine, the tables are well spaced and you can enjoy a friendly and hospitable atmosphere. we highly recommend it.
