I had a lovely experience at the restaurant. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff welcomed us with open arms. The bartenders were especially helpful and friendly, making sure to serve us promptly. The bill was surprisingly affordable for a group of six, including drinks with most meals. I didn't have high expectations for the quality of the food given the low prices, but when our meals arrived, I was pleasantly surprised.
Busy but service brilliant and swift. Food quality exactly what you expect from a good spoons. Menu a bit limited but it is the 29th of December so don't suppose the Christmas menu still in effect even though advertised and maybe it's forgivable that they've ran out of basics like pizza. Good solid would happily eat there again.
Had a nice lunch there. Large selection and easy order with the app. Eating quickly arrived. The place was clean and meets the current Covid restrictions
Located in Nuneaton, this establishment offers affordable drinks and a familiar menu, making it a go-to for many. However, recent visits reflect a stark contrast in service quality. While some patrons praise the quick service and decent food, others express frustration over unclean tables and inattentive staff. Accidents, such as spilled drinks, often go unacknowledged, leading to disappointment. Despite the establishment's potential and loyal clientele, issues with staff attitude and cleanliness have left some questioning their future visits, highlighting the need for improved service standards in an otherwise budget-friendly dining environment.

We decided to have a drink at this restaurant after visiting Toppers chip shop. They had a great selection of drinks at affordable prices. The menu also looked appealing, but we had already eaten before arriving.
I stopped by for 2 glasses of wine. When they were served in dirty glasses, I requested clean ones. I was informed that all the glasses are the same.
I often take the train to meet an old school friend for lunch and a couple of beers at The Felix Holt. He lives in Newcastle under Lyme and I live in MK, so Nuneaton is a convenient meeting point for us. The restaurant always takes good care of us, and it's great to have a variety of beers to choose from, although they do tend to focus on strong ales. Despite this, we always manage to find a table, especially when we arrive just after 11. We've never had a bad meal there yet. While the restaurant is mostly frequented by a certain type of clientele, they have never caused us any issues and are actually quite friendly when we interact with them.
Only giving three stars as Faye the bartender would NOT spit on me! I am shocked and appalled at this service as I even offered to pay, I will still come back and ask again
