I haven't had pizza from Romeo's Pizza in Northfield, Ohio in a while. I always used to enjoy it, but it's a bit pricey. When I splurged and ordered two pizzas for pick up recently, they were awful. The crust was thin (even though I didn't order thin crust), hard, and overcooked. I called and spoke to the manager, who suggested that it was all in my imagination. My imagination could never come up with a pizza that was so inedible. He didn't offer any solution, explanation, or resolution. To make matters worse, he called me "bro" - I am definitely not his brother. How rude! Thank goodness for that.
I've always ordered from Romeo's and never had any issues until today. I ordered a pizza that was overcooked and had a hard, thin crust. When my husband called to politely inform them, the person who answered was rude and unhelpful, telling us not to order from them again. When I called to speak to the manager, the same person claimed to be the manager and hung up on me as well. It's disappointing to encounter such poor customer service from someone representing Romeo's. If you enjoy cardboard-like pizza and terrible customer service, then this is the place for you. It's a shame that one bad experience has tainted my previous positive experiences at the restaurant.
