Love this place for authentic banh mi. I always get the original #6 banh mi dac biet (cold cuts, pate, pickled daikon carrot, jalapeno, cilantro, mayo, finished with a splash of Maggi. They toast the French bread making it crusty on the outside. Reminds me of my childhood .

My favorite bahn mi in RVA! $5 is a very fair price for a good sandwich. I’ve seen plenty of places sell “gourmet” bahn mi for $12-15, and they’re no better than the simple delicious sandwich you’ll find here. It’s a no-frills take out kind of place, but that’s fine with me. I get one or two pretty much every time I drive past; they’re great fresh and I can bring some home for my kids (they love’em!
