Contribute FeedbackWhat a happy circumstance and a rare coincidence when suddenly ascending appetite and the signifying midday lice coincide. Just a little clumsy when you're on the way. In the past, it was always a good idea to ask locals. This has often led to good recommendations. The 6000-soul community of Nufringen is not far from my hometown, but is not crowned by gastronomic highlights. Even Kevin Kugel, the German chocolatier champion anno 2013, has now moved from Nufringen to Sindelfingen. And with him his beautiful, tiny café. But just a few steps from its former store, located directly in Nufringen’s “Neuer Mitte” and conveniently on the main road, in a new Nigelnagel building, “Wuschels Backstub” is housed. I probably wouldn't have entered the name without a recommendation! Another happy circumstance is not to be underestimated: along the main road free parking (for 2 hours – and some are free. The locality is located on the ground floor, but can be reached over a few steps. For persons with limited mobility, an elevator is installed next to the stairs (hopefully you do not need an engineering study to set it in motion. On the left you can look at a kind of “Show Baking” (is it the term? a master of his subject while kneading dough, then follows an impressive, advantageously illuminated counter with baked goods of all kinds (from apple crimp to onion cake, then the right corner of the cozy part that beams you straight back into the seventies at first glance. In the case of sofas, armchairs and other interiors, orange, brown and yellow tones dominate, along with wood panelling (real and on the ground some parquet (fake). I'd like to get down here. However, the offer can only be studied badly with beating glasses. There seems to be a variety of breakfast arrangements (too late for today, including various pizzas, foccacias, liver cheeses, meat cubes, sandwiches, cereals, snacks etc. The two ladies at the counter are characterized by an impressive kindness, customer-orientedness and natural good mood, as I have certainly not experienced them for months. Here one is proud of the products offered, can give information about it and wants to please the guests. What commitment! After a short consultation I take 1x Focaccia Caprese (3.50 euros, of course made warm again. Tastes immensely spicy, very peppery and I annoy myself not to have ordered a drink. There are plenty of fresh cheese, mozzarella, fruity-aromatic tomato, salad, herbs and possibly some pesto-like. Good choice, even if I'm latent thirst. From my comfortable seat, I can observe how larger groups of people control Wuschel's backstub during the lunch break and use the take-away offers. Probably in Nufringen the fewest companies have their own canteen. Finally, it is important to visit the toilet. To the left, next to the backstub, a door leads to an extra separated area, which is so tasteful and proper as if it is a hotel foyer. By chance, I land on the huge, homely furnished, well-furnished and self-evident 1a-treated heavy-handed toilet, which you prefer not to leave. It works very new and hardly used. Unfortunately, I miss asking for a farewell since when Wuschel's backstub exists. If I should come back in half a year, a sunny outdoor terrace will definitely tempt you to sit out. Then I would like to gout one of the breakfast arrangements.
