A poolside restaurant with very good food. We typically eat here when we arrive and then we have the buffer when we leave. Lots of menu choices and decent resort prices. They also have a Gluten Free station, a very nice addition this year. The kids will also love the iguanas that frequent the dining area. View all feedback.
What Kes D doesn't like about Santuario Lounge At Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta:
Food was okay. Fettuccini on steroids here. Arribiata was tasty but definitely not spicy at all. Risotto was a bit undercooked. Drinks were good. I wouldn't usually pick an Italian place when I'm on vacation in another country anyway. I'm pretty picky about Italian food. View all feedback.
Service here was horrible. The food wasn't that bad but not super good either. I was just surprised that with as many people I saw working that our lunch was so slow to be delivered. To wait for 40 minutes when you have little kids is I way too much. Expensive for what amber got. Won't be back.
We came here for dinner one night. Employees are super friendly. They brought us complimentary hummus w bread. Was super good. My daughter is super picky and wanted extra bread to take with her and they gave it to her. she got pasta Bolognese and loved it. I got the octopus. I actually put the hummus on top of it and it made it even better. The potatoes didn 't really have flavor though. Today we went to he breakfast buffet. If you go to their Spiel which is stupid listening to Vidantas timeshare ****, you can get a buy one get one free breakfast buffet which is $20 each. But there are a lot of choices of food.
GREAT place to get some yummy breakfast by the pool at a very decent price on the resort of Vidanta. Vidanta does a great good offering different prices and restaurants for all budgets. Samba is great because it is right next to the pool, you can eat in the restaurant or poolside. The omelet with everything is great, it was our favorite. It come with a side of hash browns and refried beans. The pancakes were great as well. They have amazing service and great waiters! They also have a green juice that is a great lil drink to get with your breakfast along with some yummy OJ. I also got the Chilequeles, they were a 3 out of 5. I didn't absolutely love the salsa, but they were still yummy. Loved our week in Vidanta and loved Samba, we ate here 3 times!!
