Ate here our last night in town. They have some of the best ribs ever. The calamari was great too. You can get food to go or enjoy the view of the town square while you enjoy your meal. The staff was wonderful and gave us a complimentary shot of tequila to enjoy. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Dona Tere:
The best thing I recall about this restaurant is the tasty margaritas. The food itself wasn't anything special but nothing we ate was especially bad either except for the awful dipping sauce that came with my coconut shrimp. I actually had to ask my wife what we ate at Dona only a couple days afterwards. Maybe it was the time of day (early evening) but the restaurant was nearly empty and with the exception of the bar... Un restaurante familiar que ofrece desayuno, comida y cena a un precio accesible, acepta tarjetas de crédito y tiene diariamente promociones, la que nosotros aprovechamos fue de 5 tacos de longaniza o adobada muy ricos incluyendo un vaso de agua de sabor por $50.
That was the worst eating of our journey. the sopitos were very hard. I thought I'd break a tooth! the customer service was also terrible. there is much better place to go.
We were there three times to visit the two for a rib dinner. serve good, served with fries and cole Slav on a plate for two. Popular enough that they might wait a bit, long enough for a beer, but not bad.
Dona tere is a must visit restaurant in nuevo vallarta. it has the best eating in the city, the most authentic Mexican cuisine, cooked to excellent and served by alex, which speaks English perfect, and is very professional and friendly, reyna, the very nice, friendly...and fast, and oscar, which is friendly and fun. they all always have a smile on their face, are very warm and welcoming. dona tere is a food place where they do not want to miss. prices are extremely low and the quality of food is very high.
