Steps from our vrbo. Tried it on a wim for our last night in nuevo after a full day of zip lining. Wonderful tuna appetizer followed by great pizza. Live guitar and outdoor patio atmosphere. Rudy our waiter was awesome. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Ciao! Steak and Pizza:
We ordered pizza and it was terrible. The bottom was burnt, the rest of it was uncooked. We needed an ax to get through the crust. We had the ham and pineapple and the meat lovers. There was more meat on the ham and pineapple than the meat lovers! So disappointing. Only order the meat lovers if you DON'T love meat... View all feedback.
We came on the austerity of the eyes while we came by and what a perfect night! eating is absolutely excellent and the drinks good, the staff is so beautiful and the saxophonist is perfect (our hotel should employ it)! we booked to come. again on December 25 for our Christmas dinner! well done!
There must some confusion. Ciao AT THIS LOCATION IS NOT IN THE HARDROCK AND NOT ON THE BEACH. This review is for the Ciao restaurant at this location. It doesn’t serve lobster tails. Ok, this place was recommended to us and since we were in...the mood for Italian (wife) and steak (me) we headed on over. Before we left I looked at the menu from their website. Ribeye steak $399p. But the restaurant menu had $699. Big difference. I brought this 300p difference up to the waiters attention. He agreed it needed to be updated but that the difference is the ribeye is now USDA Prime, which was indicated on the paper menu. Ok fair enough. I wanted steak and ordered it. The manager Ever came out to discuss the price issue. He showed me pictures of the menu on TripAdvisor that customers posted showing $699. I showed him the restaurants own website that showed $399. He agreed it needed to be corrected and they would work on it. I’m good with that. Issue resolved. Now the food.. I’ll be darned but the 12 oz prime ribeye was more like a 16 oz prime ribeye and was definitely prime. Great seasoning and cooked medium rare as requested. It came with grilled zucchini, sliced potato and mashed potatoes. I’d say $35 worth for sure Wife who is vegan ordered the bruschetta and pizza. She said the bruschetta wound have been enough and after the 1st bite said we’re coming back. My Caesar salad came in a bowl so I didn’t have to fight to keep it on the plate and was perfect. To make up for the price confusion they offered me complimentary tiramisu. I intended to take a couple bites to be polite but ended up eating most of it and I’m not big on it. The outdoor setting was great. We went right after Sundown and they had large fans. The entertainment was incredible. She’s there every Sat/Sun at 8:30 and can sing like a bird. Highly recommend
Loved this Italian restaurant! The pizza and focaccia bread were my husband and I’s favourite, but the best part of our experience were the staff! Victor and Everardo were so warm and welcoming and that is what made all the difference. Thank you for a...lovely meal!
Food was prepared as ordered. Service was great. Atmosphere is fun. Try the pizza, it's very Italian. Wine selection is also good . Good value.
We went on this beautiful restaurant on Sunday night and had a fabulous time. eating, service and entertainment were all the first class! we enjoyed bruschetta di salmone and a margarita pizza. both were brilliantly prepared and perfectly presented at the time. we will enjoy the two slices of pizza that we could not complete this afternoon! yoss bastar put a very professional and stylish show. we left in a nice night and had the convenientness to choose a waiting taxi to return to our rented apartment. the employees were well organized and worked cheerful and safe. great experience. I hope to repeat next week!
