Contribute Feedback What Alex Altamirano likes about El Porton Gaucho:
It wasn't bad but it wasn't that great either, the dishes too small, the prices too high, the flavors too weak for the place and the price. The meat was poorly cooked and chewy, I've tasted better quality in other places. View all feedback.
What Rosolino Ferrara doesn't like about El Porton Gaucho:
Service was more or less, but steaks were so bad, especially with the temperatures. we'll get the steaks back three times and the three times were the same. We talked to the owner and he didn't know about the steaks temperatures) I recommend this... place View all feedback.
Great place to eat and drink and it won't make you sick. Great staff. Clean place. Great experience.
Exquisite! Best place to have a dinner with your loved one.
While traveling Peru by road, the last thing we expect to find was this great Argentinian restaurant in the city of Chimbote. They had a nice location with plenty of character, good service and fabulous food. We order mollejas which is a very typical and exquisite dish and it was excellent, same for the main course with great meat nicely cooked "a punto" or medium red...We would return.... definitely
Decent steakhouse specialized for Argentine beef steaks. They provide really big portion of food - even the salad and fries are really hearty. Samplers are quite typical with traditional Peruvian spices. The steak is big and they cook them as ordered. My medium rare rib eye was mind-glowingly good. The atmosphere is very nice (probably an old-manshion being renovated for the restaurant) and service was seamless.
