Finally the taste of Kolkata biryani is here in delhi!

Ever since I read a post about this hidden gem on @lbbdelhincr , it had stayed on my mind. Finally visited it a couple of weeks back and am delighted relieved to share that the wait was totally worth it.<br/ <br/ Dom Dom Biryani, situated in the by lanes of south of delhi is mainly an order to deliver place with a small dining place for around 4 peeps.<br/ <br/ If you are someone who wants to be served more than one type of biryani on the plate, this is definitely the place for you.<br/ <br/ We ordered Yorkshire Bacon Chicken biryani, basically a dum biryani with added goodness of potatoes, chicken, eggs and bacon served with mirchi ka salan. This was the best biryani for me till date and will surely be heading back to try their Kathal (jackfruit) and mutton biryani.<br/ <br/ You can order online through the various platforms like zomato, swiggy, foodpanda and ubereats. We ordered their kadhai chicken and it was delicious! You get 2 large pieces in a quarter and the gravy was very filling too. I wish it was spicier, which is why the 4 star rating. But definitely a place we'd order from again!

If you are looking for epic biryani, your search ends here. The biryani was apparently made for royalty and you will realize why, when you take your first bite. The meat is so tender and the biryani so flavourful that you just can't stop eating, the taste is so different from other biryani's you would have tasted across the country. Oh yeah, they ensure that the food is low on oil, so you feel light once you are done; how often do you feel light once you have polished off a biryani. Their curries and romali are a must try as well.<br/ <br/ Please please do yourself a favour and try their desserts, the phirni will surely blow your mind.

Great food and fragrance. Loved the potatoes and eggs added in the chicken biryani.. I’ve also had their bacon biryani that’s a must try too!
